Basingstoke is a prosperous town offering its residents a high standard of living
In fact, 93% of residents surveyed by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council stated they were satisfied with the borough as a place to live.
Basingstoke also came 12th out of over 500 locations in the UK in the 'Halifax Bank Quality of Life Index 2006' which identifies the country’s highest living standards based on indicators such as the housing market, education and health.
As well as boasting a Foundation Trust Hospital recognised as one of the best in the UK, the Borough offers a variety of housing and a range of high quality education choices.
