Pamber and Silchester
Silchester is a rural village set in attractive countryside and surrounded by the Pamber Forest.
The area around Silchester is the site of important Roman remains with much of the old city walls of Calleva and the amphitheatre still in tact.
Silchester also has a large common, a pub and village school and the area includes a number of other small villages.
